When you are a member of a union, you can become an officer and contribute to the union's work, organize activities, handle labour cases, and be the voice of domestic workers in society. Through union work, you will gain knowledge, confidence and leadership.
Get support whenever you need it:
If you ever have a problem FADWU will provide you with free consultation. We can handle your case and represent you in court if employers or employment agencies do not respect your rights.
Join activities with your union and community:
Attend workshops, classes, and social gatherings. Enjoy free services, including health checks and educational trainings like Know Your Rights and langauge classes.
Create better working conditions:
We actively work together to overcome challenges faced by domestic workers. As a member you will help advocate for other workers to get decent wages, respect, recognition and equal rights under the law.
We need you. With more members, we can have a stronger voice and push for changes, and no domestic worker needs to face injustice and abuse alone.
